Changelog
What changed in each KaribaCore release, newest first.
A clearer workspace, with considered motion
- ImprovedProjects now lead the dashboard, with clearer project identities and supporting usage information below.
- ImprovedDeployment details highlight the current build phase while keeping production status separate.
- ImprovedProject tabs, selection controls and copy feedback have subtle transitions that respect reduced-motion preferences.
Easier-to-read public pages
- ImprovedHow it works now shows the five steps first, with the full limits after them.
- ImprovedLinks inside the supported-workload panel look like links, on the website and in the import screen.
- ImprovedThe compatibility guide and this changelog have a readable introduction, and the compatibility tables label each row clearly.
- ImprovedFooter links are easier to tap on phones.
A changelog for every release
- NewThis page lists what changed in each KaribaCore release. The dashboard shows a “What's new” link, marked New until you have read the latest release.
Faster releases and stronger separation
- ImprovedPromotions, rollbacks and domain changes no longer wait for every other running app to be re-checked, so releases go live sooner as the platform grows.
- SecurityThe KaribaCore control plane is now required to run on different machines from customer builds and apps.
Steadier custom domain status
- FixedA single failed status lookup no longer marks a working custom domain as needing attention. A domain is reported degraded only after three failed checks in a row.
What KaribaCore runs
- NewA public compatibility guide lists the supported Next.js, React, Node.js and npm versions, the limits, what is not supported yet and how to fix common build errors. Failed builds link to it.
Fixes before the pilot opens
- FixedOne app that stops responding can no longer delay releases for everyone else.
- FixedRedeploying or rolling back an app is accepted even when your workspace is at its app limit.
- FixedA custom domain can no longer get stuck after a failed setup attempt.
- FixedEmail verification codes are sent reliably.
- FixedCancelled and replaced builds are no longer shown as “Build failed”.
- FixedApps that set output: 'export' now fail with a clear explanation instead of a confusing error.
- SecurityAfter sign-in, return links can only lead to KaribaCore pages.
- SecurityInvitations sent by an owner who is later removed or demoted are revoked.
More Next.js apps deploy as they are
- ImprovedNext.js 15 and 16, React 18 and 19, and Node.js 22 or 24 (from your engines field) are supported.
- ImprovedApps without standalone output are started with next start, and committed .env defaults are kept.
- ImprovedApps can connect to public PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis and MongoDB services and send email over SMTP submission.
- NewPaste a whole .env file into Variables to add many variables at once.
Notifications, checks and workspace limits
- NewA notification inbox and optional email for live releases, failed builds and workspace changes.
- NewPre-build checks report every problem in a repository before a build starts.
- NewBuild and runtime logs stream live while you watch.
- NewPull request previews report their status as GitHub checks.
- NewDelete a project and everything it runs.
- ImprovedEach account can create up to two workspaces.

- NewEach workspace has a 5 GiB allowance for deployment images, shown in Usage.
- SecurityEvery customer build and app runs in a gVisor sandbox on dedicated machines, separate from the control plane.
The dashboard goes public
- NewSign in with GitHub at karibacore.com.
- SecurityHosted apps moved to their own domain, karibacore.app, so your dashboard session is never sent to them.
